Philosophy # The Salmon Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental and physical powers of each student, preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the hight joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal we encourage each student to: • develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39. • master the basic academic skills • value labor, physical and mental, as the blessing God intended • cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity The Salmon Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School operates in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. What Our School Has to Offer You • Idaho Certified Teachers Grades 1-8 • Christ-Centered Curriculum • Strong Academic Program • Computer Instruction • Leadership Training • Extracurricular Activities • School Library • Working Partnership Between School, Home and Church Tuition $250.00 per month with an additional registration fee at the beginning of each school year. Payment is due at the beginning of each month, September through June. Tuition includes instruction, books, weekly hot lunch and the use of all school equipment. Worthy student funding is considered on a case-by-case basis. Activities SKIING Lost Trail ski area offers a wonderful program for kids to get lessons, equipement rentals, and lift tickets for a discounted price. Our school participates on four Fridays during January, February, and March.
